e-Recording

The Lake County Recorder accepts certain electronically recorded documents. Many Lake County Recorder office customers such as: mortgage companies, attorneys, banks and title companies can upload and submit documents. Some savings can be realized in postage and paper. Certain documents, after eRecording, are returned to the customer and then made available for public view. Only those document types accepted for the recording through the regular mail are also acceptable for eRecording. Transfers are not accepted through the mail.
